The arrival was incredible! Michel and his wife were beyond welcoming and genuinely cared about our comfort. The location was perfect, close to dining and shopping options. The room was dream-like with purple velvet furnishings and a stunning fresco ceiling. The salon was elegant and the breakfast conversations with Michel were a treat. The hosts were helpful and their scrambled eggs and panna cotta were delicious. The bathroom was gorgeous and the lounge area was perfect for relaxing. The overall design was beautiful and the advice on special locations and wine tastings was spot on.

The owners were so welcoming and gave us the best recommendations for things to do in Florence. The location was amazing, with everything within walking or cycling distance. We even went golfing at Circolo Golf Ugolino and Golf Club Le Pavoniere, which was so fun and worth it! I would definitely stay here again!
The only thing I would ask for is a better nightlife scene for young party-going people. It would have been awesome to have some more options for late-night fun after exploring the city during the day.

the hosts, Michel and Cinzia, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. the restored palazzo had a beautiful ambiance, with original fresco ceilings in my room and a comfortable lounge area. Michel's scrambled eggs and homemade panna cotta were delicious, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the B&B made it feel like a 5-star hotel. The location was fantastic, and the hosts were friendly and informative throughout my stay. Cons: Nothing not to like 😊.

The moment I stepped into this beautifully restored historic building, I was in awe of the stunning frescoes on the ceilings. The attention to detail in the hotel's decoration and its general areas made me feel like I had stepped into a little piece of art. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the hotel to be excellent. The children working there were attentive and always available to assist me whenever needed. It made my stay comfortable and relaxing.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people like myself, it would be to have a little better light in the bathroom for applying makeup. However, this is a very minor observation in an otherwise perfect stay.

Our stay at 1865 Residenza D'Epoca was absolutely delightful. The attention to detail was outstanding, from the classical music playing in the background to the complimentary vin santo and biscotti. The owners truly have a passion for their property and it shows. The location was perfect, a peaceful retreat away from the tourist crowds but still within walking distance to everything. The common room was a cozy spot to relax with a glass of wine and chat with other guests. Despite a minor issue with the faucet in our bathroom, our overall experience was perfect. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for two single ladies to share. The Parlor Room with its red leather couches and oversized chairs was a cozy place for breakfast. The original murals from 1865 added a touch of history, and the red velvet walls added a luxurious feel. The family members were welcoming and the breakfast made by Mateo was delicious with fresh croissants, fruit, yogurt, espresso, and eggs with prosciutto. The small size of the Residenzia allowed for meeting and sharing stories with other travelers. The location was quiet but still within walking distance of the main areas.
Felt happy, no complaints.
